Many organizations can use the internet to create their website/blog pages so the other people could access them. Also there is a tone of stores which provides to the customers that they can purchase the products both from online store and store. I have chosen Argos as example of the popular online shop and store.

Argos it’s a good example of the both store and online shopping. The customers are able to purchase and collect the products in store or just simply sit back and relax on the coach/bed and open their laptop or PC and check/order and purchase from the Argos online store. It is much easier to purchase from online using the DEBIT/CREDIT cards also the items can be delivered straight to the customer’s door or the customer are able to order the product from online and collect it from the store.

Many people these days use online shopping because it’s a simple and easier especially for those people who lives far away from the Argos store or they work in day time but have some time in evening, but most often the Argos store is closed on evening. Using online Argos the customers don’t have to worry about closing times, because the online store works every single day 24h , so the customers can order the product any time they want too. Also of course it will take some time to deliver the product to the customer’s door, but the customer can order and collect from the store anytime they want with out waiting for product being delivered to their door.

  

The business can easily earn some extra profit by selling the products not only in the

Store, but in the internet because they might sell more products through the internet than In the store. Because a lot of customers who are not able to access to the store , they might order the products from online Argos shopping

This is the example, also Argos does send emails about when and what promotions do they do and what type of sales.

 if the customer has the problem/complain or some other questions he can contact to the customer service via internet such as using the email or just leave a comment/complain and they will reply to the customers email, also the customer can contact via phone too instead of waiting a long line in the store.

These days it’s easy to access to the online shopping’s , also the customer are able to view the other people comments about the product and what they think before he decide to buy the product.  If he/she has any questions about the product he/she can always ask the question through the Argos website. here is some print screen where and what type of questions do the people ask:

In the shop , when the people are buying the products they can’t see other people views and comments about the product which they buy, so they don’t know if the product it’s good or not good. When buying the products from the Argos site, the people are able to ask questions get answers, read other people comments and views and rate the product after they receive and use the product.

 

 Intranet

Intranet it’s a private network where the people can access to the website privately by entering the username and password which has been given by their college or school. The user cannot access to the intranet if he/she doesn’t have the password and user name, also the user cannot make a new account on intranet because it’s private and they can only get a new password and username in their school or college if they are studying in there, also same goes with the teachers no students and teachers can change their passwords and usernames on the Intranet websites.

 Also intranets are links between servers and computers also some areas are internet links between companies. If the user has password and username they can access to the Intranet and to find out the information they need such as about college subjects, homework or the work which they have missed while being off from the college or school.  Here is some example to the Intranet website such as Moodle:

Using moodle the people can find out the information which they need or do the work which they have missed in school/college for e.g. the weather has been bad or they have been absent he/she can catch up the work which she/he needs to do using the moodle. Or He/she can do extra work such as homework at home using moodle, there is different subject categories in moodle which the user can choose from, also the user are allowed to contact/leave message to the other users who use moodle.

Also the teachers who use moodle, they are able to upload/delete/change the files in the moodle, but the students cannot.

In moodle the users not only can view/do/upload work, but they also can contact with each other which means send messages to each other no matter where you are at home or at college, here is the example of the moodle messaging:

The intranet helps with training, such as if the teacher or student it’s off from school/college they can catch up the work with out need the help of teacher. It helps teachers to get away from silly excuses when the students don’t do their work or being off.

To access to this intranet site, again the user should get the username and password from the school or college which will be able to contact with these website owners and make new passwords and new usernames for the students.
